FilmiScope is built for people who love movies and TV shows. These Community Guidelines are designed to keep FilmiScope useful, respectful, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

By using community features on FilmiScope, including reviews, ratings, comments, discussions, or other user-generated features, you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

Treat other members of the FilmiScope community with respect.

  • Do not intentionally derail discussions

3. Reviews and Ratings

We encourage users to share honest opinions about movies and TV shows.

When submitting reviews or ratings:

  • Review the actual movie or show
  • Give genuine opinions
  • Avoid deliberately misleading reviews
  • Do not manipulate ratings
  • Do not create multiple accounts to influence ratings
  • Do not submit reviews in exchange for unauthorized compensation
  • Avoid repetitive or meaningless content

You are welcome to dislike a movie. Explain why rather than attacking other users.

4. Spoilers

Please be considerate of users who have not watched a movie or TV show yet.

When discussing important plot details:

  • Clearly identify spoiler content
  • Use available spoiler formatting where provided
  • Avoid revealing major plot points in titles or summaries
  • Do not intentionally spoil content for other users

Examples of major spoilers include:

  • Character deaths
  • Major plot twists
  • Endings
  • Secret identities
  • Important story revelations

5. No Spam

Do not use FilmiScope to distribute spam or repetitive content.

This includes:

  • Repeated comments or reviews
  • Unwanted advertisements
  • Promotional messages
  • Excessive self-promotion
  • Referral links intended to generate unauthorized benefits
  • Automated or bot-generated posts
  • Misleading promotional content

6. No Fake Reviews or Rating Manipulation

Reviews and ratings should represent genuine user opinions.

Do not attempt to artificially increase or decrease the popularity or rating of a movie, TV show, person, or other content.

This includes:

  • Coordinated rating manipulation
  • Fake accounts
  • Multiple accounts created for manipulation
  • Purchased reviews
  • Automated ratings
  • Organized attempts to distort rankings

7. Respect Copyright

Only submit content that you have the right or permission to share.

Do not upload, post, or distribute:

  • Copyrighted movies or TV episodes
  • Unauthorized copies of videos
  • Pirated content
  • Copyrighted images without appropriate rights
  • Copyrighted text copied from other sources without permission

8. Do Not Share Personal Information

Content related to movies may naturally discuss mature themes, but discussions should remain relevant and appropriate for the platform.
